The Perils of Being the Youngest Child

It all started out innocently enough. Just our little fam, hanging out together in bed.  Daddy wrestling Jo & Bay, Mommy holding me.

And then I heard things get a little wiley over to my right.

But no cause for panic. Mom's got me safe & sound. I love times like this, all of my peeps together and having a good time.

OMG. My brother & sis are SO funny! Lol.

Then all of the sudden I saw something out of the corner of my eye.

HOLD UP.  Is that a FOOT coming at me?

Ah!

No really--- AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

*** BONK ***

So much for mom's protection.  Gonna have to sleep with one eye open. Make that two.

Jo vs Navy, 8 weeks

Jo & Navy look quite alike at 8 weeks!

The last month

Our house used to be yellow
Now it is blue

Baylor is now old enough to sit on the swing reliably.   Jo isn't quite old enough to push him reliably, but we're letting it happen anyhow

Baylor approves

We took Navy to meet her great grandma, Nannie

Jo is so creative.  Left to her own devices (which happens frequently) she comes up with the most random art projects.  This was a series of 3 rules (I was the rule breaker, under threat of incarceration by the cop, aka Jo) taped in different spots around the house.  I'll interpret them for you.  From left to right:
1) No sharks in the bathtub with Navy
2) No bubbles in the bathtub with Navy
3) No letting Navy cry

I framed my kids

Cousin Casey came to visit and the kids played trains

It snowed

Here's what our house looked like covered in snow

The kids didn't like being wet or cold, so we elected to do snowmen indoors

Rubberface

Jo's face at rest:

Jo's face, slightly surprised:

Jo's face, suspicious that you're trying to pull one over on her:

Jo's face, kooky:

Jo's face, skeptical:

Jo's face, smug:

Navy Seal, Navy Bean, Navy Blue I love you

My sweet pea - here are more of her newborn pictures

I love this one- I love Jo's hand wrapping around mine & Navy and Baylor's half glimpses.

When you try to copy your sister

Patty & Ash both took pics of their kids at their month-birthdays.  They turned out really cute:

Naturally I didn't want to be left out. So I propped my one month old up...and here's what we got:

Look- you can take pictures if you want, but just to be clear, I'll be frowning for the next thirty minutes. At least.

AHHHH- A FLASH?? Is that really neccessary?

EEK! It's a lot to ask of my undeveloped neck muscles to keep this big head up!

I FELL OOOOOOVER!

ARGH THE LIGHT IS SOOOO BRIGHT!

Ok fine you can have one mediocre one:

We're done? YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
